Early Morning Meditation

I get up for the day at 4:30 am and at one time I would turn on the TV to find out what was going on in the world. Now I realize the world can wait and I set back and enjoy my coffee and meditate for an hour or so.

It's a great way to start the day and allows one to see things with a calm sense of mind.

Today with cell and smart phones we are always in a rush. Now that I am retired there is no rush, it's time to enjoy life and slow down and see the world.

If you have never taken time to meditate, there is no better time than right now! Happiness to all.

Wendy: My sister has a meditation room (was an office) and she has essential oils, calm music, nice peaceful surroundings, and meditates. She prays, and then meditates. Sister works with detained juveniles, not a great environment -- and yet she really does HELP them. I think, to a large extent, the work doesn't affect her negatively (as it does others) because of her meditations!

It's a win-win for MY retired life!

Thanks for the post. With some personal stress,
I have gotten away from it. Your reminder way a nice push.
