Home Repair Website:OK, in this example, let's assume you've worked the past 20 years doing home repair, as a contractor, doing all sorts of jobs for home owners: cement work, roofs, windows, carpet laying, dry wall, painting. You want to retire but can't imagine complete retirement.A website is born! Finding your niche: The Brainstormer reseach is done to find your niche: Do you target (1) do-it-yourself home owners or (2) wanna-be contractors? OK, you brainstorm and find good keywords on a variety of the work you've done: (1) cement stepping stones, cement porch repair, carpet repair, carpet laying, carpet and padding grades/types, roof types, easiest roofing, how to repair a roof, how to re-roof the house, etc. (2) licenses needed to do contractor work, insurances, liability, how to bid a job, how to cost out the job, doing the work yourself vs. hiring contractors to work for you, how to find work, how to build a website to find jobs, and many more will pop up that you never even considered... but people are searching for. Write about your niche: Again, you start writing on each keyword, page after page. Maybe you choose to purchase voice software so you can talk each page out, and just edit afterwards if that's easier for you. You might even hire help online to write your articles... many do. more searches that find you = more visitors = INCOME. Got it? Website Income: Your income could come from Google Adsense again. Then you'd likely look for affiliate opportunities. Most companies allow good website owners to sell their product on the website. So maybe you find a great nationwide stepping stones mold company (hey, don't laugh, I'm talking about the plastic molds to make your own stepping stones). Anyways, let's assume they accept you as a affiliate. You review and recommend how to make stepping stones for readers yards and why these are the best molds out there (the quality, different types of cement, how much different stones will cost you vs buying them, take photos of different stepping stones, colored cement, decorative patterns or inset stones in cement), explain everything. You do need to do the research... but if you know enough, and can explain well enough, folks order and you get a commission. You'd find other affiliates, books on home repairs, videos, other home repair products. Lots of traffic on the website = more orders = more commission. You might also write an e-book that helps others become contractors, and allow other websites to sell it too (they get commission, you get more sales too!) Heck, you've got all the information on your website already,just pick one topic of your niche, and revamp it a bit, and you have an e-book!
