Happy Retirement - all about finances?

by Mary Anne
(Missouri)

The first thing I would need to do for a start to a happy retirement is to have someone help me get my Social Security processed and all the other government programs out there which I would be eligible for.

Then I need to know what I have to do as far as tax planning and the best way to start withdrawing from my IRA and savings accounts.

Should I consider a reverse mortgage on my home or should I sell my house and move into something more age friendly?

Once I can get these things done, maybe I can relax and have a happy retirement....

Wendy's Two Cents: Maybe, just maybe, you'll be fine in retirement with your finances all ready to go -- but have you considered what you'll do 24/7 after you retire? Please think about it.. its so important!
