Hello there

by Ashley
(Indiana)

I just recently moved to Indiana, don't know anyone here and missing the conversations. It gets lonely without someone to talk to.

I'm looking for someone who thinks they will be able to keep up a regular penpal friendship.

I love writing letters, and receiving them even more. I love books of all sorts, really art in any form you can think of.

I just love chatting in general about anything and everything.

Pen Pals
by: Barbara

Hi Ashley,

I am a transplant from NH to TX. I am 65, retired, and a widow. Used to travel quite a bit with my husband. My family is grown and lives long distance. I've reoeated myself several times on this site!

Still looking for new e-mail friends. Hope you write. Would like to know more about you.

Sincerely, Barbara

To Ashley of Indiana.

Posting your age is important since people close to the same age have more to chat about... as a rule. Texas female in 70's responding.

Hi Ashley

GeeGee here.

Not sure I'm adding a comment in the right blank but I wanted to ask your age. I am 75--look it but don't "feel" it in my thinking. I have 2 daughters, 6 adult grandchildren and 3 greats.

Love to write and receive letters and love art in almost any form, too--and that is what caught my eye about your comment.

I do a kind of mixed media art that often borders on original craft work.

I stay busy in spite of the aches and pains but do know my physical limitations.

Am Texan, married for 54 years and, yes, to the same man (everyone seems to find that interesting for some reason). I just grin and say, "Have you priced the cost of divorce these days?" I spend my extra dollars on arts and crafts supplies.

Are you anywhere near my age? Waiting to hear one way or another.
