Number of social security checks issued?

by michael wagner
(pittsburgh, pa, usa)

On average, how many checks are issued out to people at age 66, compared with at age 62? where can i find such data? thank you.

Wendy's reply: I found this Social Security page with December 2009 statistics on ages and how many are collecting the benefit. If this doesn't help you, please comment below and I'll find the exact numbers for you. I have to run to work.. yes, I still work. Hope this link helps!
