Pen Pal needed for a senior who is in the Sandwich Generation

I am located in the Bay Area of California and would like to find a pen pal who is part of the Sandwich Generation. It would be a nice support for each of us.

I worked in the Philantrophy Department for a large Tech Company in the Silicon Valley. Prior to that position I was a teacher and in an administrative capacity for a private school.

I retired a few years ago hoping to travel and pursue my quilting and weaving interests but I have spent a lot of time care giving for my mom who is nearly 99 years old.

I am looking for another woman who is interested in being my pen pal.

I feel your pain....I am a recent widow and have an elderly mother 86 who wants to do nothing but argue every single day....are you having the same problem....I can't believe your mom is 99...doesn't give me much hope for freedom....is she still able to get around? Hope to hear from you....I live in Florida

Hi I am Amelia I have looking for people to talk to for a week and I do hope this is correct. I find myself alone most of the time.

I suppose to be trying to get people to go myspace.com/mcbent and listen to my sons music. I think every one should the one called Hard Times. It is the story of us for the past year.

He with his masters and me old a dirt - neither of us could find a job.

But now he working not what he wants but a job.

Hi Jean,i am from Aberdeen Scotland and i retired in 2006.

I was a senior care officer in a residential home for the elderly.I try to keep busy but the days can drag.My husband has Parkingson`s and sleeps most of the day.I have a son who lives in Singapore and another in Edinburg.My daughter lives near me but you know what it is like they have there own life.I would love to hear from you.
