Age really is just a number.

As for me, I was fortunate to have resided in Saudi Arabia for eight years with a great deal of wide-world travel in-between. Also lived in Pago Pago, American Samoa for two years. Have been to 18 countries, 8 of them in Europe.

I love to talk "travel" - I have written an illustrated book on Haiku; have been doing creative writing all my life; now retired but we belong to a wonderful, thought-provoking discussion group; an orchid society and an Elks lodge.

Anyone retired should be as pro-active as possible. Make things happen. Be curious about everything and everyone - be a good listener and most of all, be a sensitive soul!
