Retirement Gifts For Women
Need to find retirement gifts for women in your life?As a newly retired woman (with no children), I've often wondered HOW women juggle work, and kids and home life for all of their working years. Really! To me, it seems they must be almost superhuman to be both a good worker and to balance a household and children/teens for all those working years. I've actually asked moms: "How in the world did you make it through all your working years?” How do you wake up daily, get dressed, pack the baby and all their bottles and diapers, drive to the sitters, work a full long day, come home, make dinner, bathe baby and settle them down for the night? Now make husband time (if any!), make bottles for the next day... and then do it all over again and again? I've left out many things these super moms do as I never did it! Kids grow older, they dress themselves, but that mom is still plugging along - getting everyone dressed, making breakfast, making lunches, getting kids off to school, working a long challenging day (sometimes with kids phone calls and sick kids), then coming home to dinner, taking them to sports events or clubs, getting home and crashing. Hmmm, where does hubby fit in here? Finally, teenagers! Yikes! You can't totally trust them and you've got to be at work, so the kids are always on your mind.. when your mind should be on work! You help with breakfast, push them out the door and hope they make it to school, you work a full challenging stressful day, come home to kids arguing, kids going out at night so that you mentally stay alert until they are back home safe and sound........ enough! Kids move out, empty nest starts, work is stressful, employers downsizing, but you gotta show you are still vital. Work work and work some more...
