Retirement - It's not easy to walk away.

by Jeff M
(Washington State)

Depression is a kind of disease which can lead to so many problems.

Yes, I had depression after my retirement. It lasted for 1 year and now I am totally free from it.

I took psychological counseling for treating my depression and for 5 months. I felt very sad.

Because of disability called diplopia I was told to move out of the company. It was a difficult decision to accept in the beginning and I fell into deep depression thinking about it.

It feels so bad to leave a company in which you have been working for more than 20 years.

Thanks.
