The boss

Hello all you lovely older people. For some reason since I moved to a senior community I seem to have lost my usual email people. I suppose they were all younger than me and not so interested in my escapes any longer.

Well I'm still me!

I'm 74 y.o. and don't feel like it.

I love cat's yes that's right, cat lady. I've 3 currently. I wish I had a dog but they won't let me.

2 grown son's 2 granddaughters they are 10 years apart. 9 y.o. and 19 y.o.

Lots of time on my hands and would love to correspond with some seniors.

sincerely, Fran

Hi Fran. Good to know we cat persons. I am 62, married, 2 adult sons, 1 grand daughter & 2 sibling ragdoll & himalayahn brother & sister. Archie & Dolly have the same father (himalayan) but different ragdoll moms. Just returned to city living after living in a wooden adult community. Feel like a fish out of water. Hope to chat. Barb

hi Fran, I have 4 cats, and they keep the house lively! All are spoiled of course; they deserve it.
I'm widowed, have 3 sons, love to read and watch movies and would enjoy chatting with you.

Cats Rule!
by: Michael

Hi.

My wife recently bought me a cat calender for 2010. One of my favorite cartoons showed aliens holding up a cat upon entry to earch, saying, "This is the species that rules the planet." I can equate. We have always spoiled our cats so much we're not sure who is training who.

Hi Fran--Hope we can chat. I am a cat person as well. I lost my best friend Max last year. I still have my female cat Cindi and also a border collie names Sox. I have 2 grown kids and 5 grandkids and I just love to make new friends online. Hope to get acquainted.

Love cats too.

Hello Fran,I am in assisted living too at 71 years old, for 9 years this year. Wanting email penpals to chat with. Most people here are much older than I am and do not hold conversations very much.I love sharing information and interacting with people in general. Love meeting new people. I play piano here for fun and today we had an old fashioned sing a long a few of us. We do this often. I love cat stories from others and have many myself. January 30, 2010 from Sandy B

I am also a cat lady

Hi Fran,

Even though I haven?t moved to a senior community I also seem to have lost my usual Epals. I guess because, like you, they were all a lot younger and I have more time than they do now I am retired.

I did have 2 cats but had to have 1 put to sleep as he went senile about 2 years ago at aged 18. The one I still have is now 13 and thoroughly spoilt and people laugh at me because I talk to him. I would have got another one but I hate having to put them in the cattery when we go on our travels. We love to go away to
the sun as much as we can.

I am married with 2 daughters, 1 married the other not but lives in N. Ireland.

Would love to write to other seniors in any country so maybe we could email each other.

Best wishes, Diane

I am also a cat lady from Ireland

My husband and I live in Ohio in the summer and Florida in the winter. And "no" the cat doesn't like to travel. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi Fran,

I have two Balinese cats, they are both 11 years old.I have had them both since they were 3 months old. One is a female, the other a male. The male they were going to put to sleep because while the breeder was away his right paw got broken and she could not sell him so she was going to put him to sleep. He has been the love of my life what a personality. The leg is frozen put he does not know he has a bum leg and does everything. I also have a little Yorkie that will be 2yrs in June.I have had him since he was 3 months also. They all get along beautifully. I have kid's, grand-kids and great-grand-kid and great, great grand-kids. Not that old just turned 70. Love my family.
