Senior Pals: Senior? Who Me?

by Sandra

I might be 56,but I don't consider myself a senior.

I still work, as a cashier. Been doing that for a little over a year. I miss my old job. Worked at it for 16 yrs. My decision to quit though.

I like reading when I have time and the house is quiet. My husband has surround sound on his tv.Some days I think I'm in the movie theater.

I like playing Pogo on the computer and emailing friends. I don't like all throughs emails if you don't send this to 10 people you will be cursed.

I mainly use a puter for research and to keep in touch with friends and family. I love to travel and miss it. I love to bowl, go for walks, especially on the beach.

I have 2 grown children,4 grandchildren,2 step children,and 6 step grandchildren.

Would like to hear from anyone, tell me about your life etc. Likes and dislikes. Where you been and where you want to go.

senior who

hi-i am 63 yrs of age & you are correct that anyone under 60 should never be referred to as a senior.

I'm new to this site so i don't know how many members are still on or if the these e-mails just disappear. I also have surround sound but rarely use it-too loud-product was overhyped to males in my opinion.

Recently retired and live in the NE area-winters are brutal so spending more time on line- looking for someone who enjoys stimulating discussions on a wide variety of subjects but so far -no luck

I have always admired people that can count money. Somehow I seem to get confused when counting someone elses money. However I to have no trouble counting my money.
