The smell of the sea for me is on the Texas coast around Galveston. I lived in Texas for awhile. Didn't like Texas but loved being close to the water --until I got caught by a portugese man o war. Painful to the max.
I live in landlocked Kansas and do miss the salt sea smell.
I am 74 and live alone with my mini dachshund Heidi. Like to cook, read, sew and cogitate about life, etc.
