I am 74 and really liked your comments. I managed a senior living complex for over 5 yrs so I guess we have something in common.

I have 3 daughters now, the oldest one died 5 yrs ago. Eleven grands and five greats. I am retired now and live in a senior living complex.

I quilt and embroider. I like to read but need to get my eyes worked on so don't do much of that now.

I was in Seattle once several years ago and really liked it. The weather was beautiful when we were there with no rain but I don't mind rain- coming from the plains as I do. I live in Wichita,Ks.

I am soon to be 71 (January), and I enjoy writing poetry and stories, singing, gardening, love to walk, and my husband and I love going to the river, where we spend a lot of our time.
I have three daughters, one granddaughter and four grandsons.

Hi Mary Ann,

I'm also looking for a lady pen-pal. I just thought of it. Occasionally, I need someone to "talk" to, and share ideas, etc. so thought it would be fun to have a pen-pal to e-mails to.

I'm a bit older than you are.....79, and I'm still married, after almost 61 years. I don't have a lot of complaints. I have a really blessed
life. I have a TON of lady friends, but I don't like being really open about my personal opinions, etc., to the people I see on a regular basis.

I'm hoping that we can send e-mails to each other and just "be there" for each other, when we need to talk about personal problems. Would you be open to that?

My husband is a wonderful person. I had four children (one is deceased), and six grandchildren...... no greats, as yet.

Hello and I agree to no religious or political articles etc. I have no living family, all deceased, I was raised with. I am divorced for about 30 years now. I have a close man friend I love who is 66 years old and teaches piano. I am 72 years old. I have chosen family and I am always open to new chosen family. No grandchildren. The child subject issue is closed as too sad fro me to discuss. I am alone. I am a retired decorator and piano teacher. I love reading non fiction, computer, love food research as related to health, Harvard research my favorite source of information. I play piano for residents here every day at my assisted living, mostly old sing a long type of songs or well known songs people know.The piano keeps me happy. Sandy B

i just turned 70 recently and retired in 2006.Iwas a senior care officer in a residential home for the elderly.i would love to corrispond with you as my husband has Parkingson`s desease and do not get out much.I live in Aberdeen ,Scotland .I look forward to hearing from you.
