Your Two Cents On Retirement Decision

Please help others through their retirement decision --

How did you decide to retire? what factored into that decision? Was it voluntary or involuntary? Was it financial? Were you simply tired and ready? Did you have a new adventure to jump into or a new job? -- or -- was it simply the right time? What made you retire?

Now, answer this so when visitors read how you retired they can see how like themselves you are (or not):

  • How long were you employed at the job you left?
  • What was your occupation?
  • How did you walk out that workplace door for the last time (left work early, just walked out with everyone as usual, left after the good-bye party)?
  • What did you do the day after you retired?

How and Why did you Retire?

Please share WHY you retired... voluntary or involuntary, what went into that retirement decision?

Also, HOW did you walk out that workplace door the last time? Did you leave early? walk out with everyone like any day? leave after a party?

Do you have any input on HOW to make that decision and HOW to walk out that door for the last time? I'd appreciate your input in this area! thanks!
