Wendy, your excellent post touches something inside the heart of each one of us ....

Thank you for this excellent post. It shows how something very small, like seeing a film on the TV, can start a train of thoughts that leads us into deep introspection, followed by an outpouring of words and ideas.

We all dream of things. Our dreams today are the answers to questions that we may have in our hearts tomorrow.

I once wrote the story of a distant relative who wanted nothing but a peaceful retirement. What he got? Perpetual struggle as long as he lived. I shall try to locate that story in my papers and post it on this website.

Congrats on your excellent post. Please do write more often. We love it.

Movies about Seniors:
Grump Old Men

Wendy:

Loved your posts and seen each of the movies referenced. Remember Grumpy Old Men and Grumpier Old Men ... us guys can relate to those two although I must admit I did see and love About Schmidt!

Thanks for sharing. I need to make it a point to watch more of those old movies if for no other reason than to get a good belly laugh going every now and then.
