Earnings limit when collecting Social Security at age 68

by Jac
(Nevada)

In other words, is their a limit to the amount that you can earn when collecting Social Security?

My Retirement Benefits from Social Security are only $564.00 per month. Is their a limit to how much that I can earn if employed or employed as an Independant Contractor?

Wendy's reply: If you are at the "full retirement age", you can draw full SS benefits with no penalty for working. At age 68, you can work all you care to...

If you'd like to see this for yourself on the
Social Security site..
go here! Just scroll half way down the page and it will show you the different ages and what is lost (but still gained as you get more income plus a bit less in SS benefits).
