I have the McDowell back to 1792 Stoke Damerel Devon uk and Dumbrell family tree from Sussex uk which i have reached a brick wall. I am still hoping to find someone tracing the same surnames as myself.

My Grandfather was William Henry McDowell from Devon, England born 1847 - Joyce Mannell we are related.

I have been trying to reach you for several years now. My grandfather was William Henry McDowell born 1847 in Devon, England. His parents were
William and Editha (Rundle) McDowell.

I do have quite a bit of information about Elizabeth Charlotte and Emily Ellen McDowell (his sisters who also came to the USA). Besides himself - please contact me at SEagles254 at aol.com if you can.

My mother was William Henry McDowell and Lilly Maria Golder's daughter. There is only one daughter still alive - the youngest who is also named Emily Ellen. They had 18 children in all and I have quite a lot of information about them all.
