The Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers organization can help seniors with all sorts of tasks:

Transportation for appointments

Errands, shopping and deliveries

Housekeeping

Minor home repairs

Friendly visits

Hair care for homebound

Their home base is Centerline, but they have hundreds of volunteers who serve those who need them. They were founded in 1992, and have served over 2100 physically challenged adults in the past 18 years.

Like most organizations today, Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers are working with a much smaller budget -- and yet, the needs of people is greater, and they come in greater numbers needing help.

You can call them at (586) 757-5551 or visit the website here: Macomb County Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers.
