Retired so long ago can't remember when.

I was on a trip when i decided it was time to sell my business. My wife had retired a year before so i thought we could travel and have some fun. But God had other plans for us...

My wife, who worked for forty four years had never been sick, had a stroke when we were out visiting my sister.

So that was the rest of our lives together (for twenty five years), I took care of her until I couldn't any more and she spent the last five years of her life in a nursing home, until she died.

I have since married to a lady I met on the internet two years ago. And i like to write to who ever wants to write.

Wendy: Larry-- we never know where Life will lead us, do we? We assume a long retirement with our long time spouse, but God has other plans. I am glad you found someone else....

Hey, did you meet your current wife here on R-O?? just curious!
