Sunny again

Feeling in a better mood this week as the summer has returned. It has been so cold over here that we had to put the central heating on several occasions.

Have started painting again and began revising some of the short stories and poems that I wrote some years ago.

There is an Art show in Sheffield at the beginning of next month where amateur artists can exhibit their paintings for people to buy so will aim to get some done for that.

I sold a few last year so hopefully will again.

No holiday this year because of Covid.

Sunny At Last

I live on the West Coast of British Columbia, Canada and have similar weather as your area. We just finally got some beautiful warm weather, it's like California weather today! We barely get to break out our summer clothes before the wet, cold weather hits us come the end of September. I'm already eyeing my fall clothes in my closet. I'm enjoying this beautiful weather while I can!
Sunny Again

When it became sunny here in London it was sweltering. At first I enjoyed the balmy weather but then it became hotter and hotter. Phew! Also, watering the garden twice a day so.... My energy evaporated. But then came the rain!

Blissful rain which took away the lethargy. I even walked in the rain...it felt so good. Like yourself I will not be going on holiday. Well, I might but somewhere in the UK. There are special trips to the Isle of Wight. Still being careful wearing a mask, social distancing, washing my hands and most of all only seeing a few friends. Excited about Thursday going to the Cinema! Oh, the simple pleasure we really miss.
