Retired and Writing "MEMORIES" at Age 81

The story I am writing about my life is in progress. I am calling it "Memories" and hopefully my children and their children will enjoy reading it someday.

It has been several months since I started it, and right now I am in a "stall" mode. So far I have arrived at the time in my life when I am getting married.

Since I am now 81 years old, there is a lot of story left yet to tell.

It is being written on the computer which makes it easy to proofread and rewrite as many times as I feel it is necessary.

Included in my story are "memories" of my life before my father died (when I was only 4) and after he died. Naturally there aren't many memories before he died as I was too young.

Also included will be the many moves I have made in my life and the different homes I have lived in, which number 15.

There are stories of my life living on the farm with my grandparents, moving in with my mother as a teenager, living with my husband and having seven children, and then living alone with my husband after the children are all gone.

As I said, I have a long way to go with my writing.
