Golden Girls, and I am one!

Well, I am watching them right now... and just realized I AM THEM! Yikes! Golden Girls ran from 1985 - 1992, and I was age 30 when it began. It was a great comedy of these older single gals, figuring out life, dating, and more... Here is it 2011, and I am watching a re-run and suddenly discover that TWENTY FIVE YEARS have passed! Yikes #2! Yes, Yes, I know time flies... but on they show, they are the same age from 1985. On the other hand, I've aged 25 years, so that *I* am their age now! Hmmmmm, what's wrong with this picture? I am a Golden Girl now? Now, I am NOT Sophia (Estelle), much too old for me at 56. I really like that she was allowed to play a sharp witty senior, not an older confused one! I am NOT Dorothy (Bea) either, I am not sarcastic like her and I don't wear muu-muu's or big loose jackets hiding all. I am tall but not like Bea was. I do like Dorothy as she says it like she sees it. I guess I'm a cross between Blanche (Rue) and Rose (Betty) -- Blanche a bit too wild and sassy, totally a man chaser, and Rose too dumb-blonde, naieve and pretty conservative. Both dress nicely (and I'm in blue jeans daily). Hmmmm.... For the first time in 30+ years, I have time for friends (since I'm no longer working). I'd love to live with a bunch of girl friends right now... it might be fun! Oh well, just had the thought that I am one of them now.. a senior just like the Golden Girls! Just wanted to share my two cents on my small revelation here! What about YOU? Which Golden Girl is the most like you and why? just curious!! BIG P.S. Betty White (at age 90) just released a song named I'm Still Hot! You Go Girl! It's a remix with Luciana. Betty holds a boa constrictor while sitting on a throne surrounded by six shirtless body builders as she throws out rhymes including: “I will get you sweaty because I’m the big Betty!” and "I may be a senior but so what? I'm still hot." Now, Isn't THAT a hoot! You Go For It, Betty! AGAIN, What about YOU? Which Golden Girl is the most like you and why? just curious!!
