Senior Volunteers at Church to Feed Homeless

by Danny

Recently, I have started to volunteer at my church, Asylum Hill Church.

I have started to go in when I am able and serve food to the homeless, as well as cleaning up afterwards. I try to go in twice a week and always help serve refreshments on Sundays.

It is certainly a positive experience and very rewarding.

As I don't have that much to do because I am retired, this gives me an opportunity to do something with my time, and gives me a rewarding feeling.
