Which retirement option to pick?

I am wondering whether to pick a retirement option with a 10 year certain payment, or whether to take a chance on a contingent annuity?

Are you married? For many years or a newer marriage? Same age approximately, as you, or someone younger?

Do you have investments to draw on if the pension ends for your beneficiary?

Is health care tied to a pension for the spouse (if any)?
