A fabulous 80th birthday

April 10th, was my 80th birthday.😁 My daughter asked me to give her suggestions about what kind of party I wanted. Well, I knew, I didn't want a bunch of old folks sitting together commiserating.

I love the ocean and suggested a day trip over to the beach.

It was the best birthday I ever had.😁 The surprise was that my grandson and his girlfriend showed up too, we walked the beach, collected rocks and shells, had an impromptu picnic, visited the Botanical Garden and ended a perfect day with a scrumptious dinner on a terrace overlooking the Pacific.

The present from my daughter, a certificate for a biplane flight, something I've have on my bucket list for a while.

Life is great!
