Retired and busy.

I don't know where the perception comes from that being retired is boring. I am so busy I wonder how I had time to go to work.

There are numerous opportunities within my community that benefit the community itself and me. By contributing I am not only keeping myself healthy and active, but making my community a better place to live.

The nice thing is I don't have to do it if I don't want to.

I have found that when I retired I could be as busy as I want to be, and that a good thing.

I like to visit with family and friends.
I also enjoy reading, taking online classes, learning a new language, and volunteering for three different non-profit groups.

It is a rewarding time of life, and I rarely have any regrets. God is Good!
