Retired and Loving It!

Hello Wendy,

Your story is interesting as all good retirement stories are.

I'm at my 1 year retirement anniversary. It's been quite a year. A good year. It started by saying goodbye to wonderful and varied career.

It progressed in the past year of looking for new passions and trying new things. There's too many to list but it's been great and the search continues.

The downside is that I'm losing some of my previously honed skills and knowledge. You know what they say, "if you don't use it, you lose it." I guess that's the cost of moving on to other things. I'm still trying to get my mind around moving from an expert to just having some expertise, and broadening my field of interests.

I wonder how others have felt.
