Social Security, working and 70+

by Wanda
(Florida)

Took early retirement and have worked limited number of hours per year to help with expenses. Now 72, am I still restricted to the amount of money I can make without having to pay back? If so what is the dollar amount?

Time to take a break from working - the money might be good to have, but then when you finally retire and find out ..that you have no energy for anything - the money isn't worth it~

Best Wishes.

Work all you want -- you are full retirement age and will receive Social Security payments and income without limits. If your employer will allow you more hours, it's your decision.
