VIdeo Games on your Phone or Tablet?

I never did video games, but I am addicted to SOLITAIRE on my tablet. Let me explain...

First, My husband and I play RUMMIKUB with my sister and her husband once a month or so. The winnings go into a pot for a nice dinner at some point. It's a great challenge (especially after a glass of wine)!

Rummikub -- So analytical, keeps you thinking and moves relatively quickly. Click the Amazon link to see the game, you may remember it yourself.

So I decide to try Solitaire while sitting with mom in Assisted Living. Keep my brain thinking, while letting time pass, AND I love it!

It reminds me of Rummikub and will help me with a better game -- but also is challenging to my aging mind. It's a Win-Win to me!

This Solitaire link is to a free download on Amazon! FREE. If you are on a phone or tablet, you can click and grab it.

WHY do I like this one? Mostly "HINTS" at the bottom. When I first played, I played as I did as a child, with very limited thinking. However, if you use HINTS a few times, you will see all the possibilities and it really opens your eyes to all the moves you are missing.

After you play a few games click around as it has different scoring, shows your best game, and more!

Keep your Brain Challenged!

P.S. If YOU do a video game or two, please tell us about them below. PLEASE explain why you like it too -- that will help others try it! Thanks!

Wendy,

I love video games! I really like the sudoku game on the tablet. You can make it as easy or difficult as you want. I also like crossword puzzles and mahjong on the tablet.

Before I retired I watched my coworkers playing on an Xbox. It looked fun so I got one. Then my husband got one too. He is upstairs and I’m downstairs. You join online from the Xbox and can all play together. There’s a bit of a learning curve but if I can do it anyone can.

Lots of hours are spent on the Xbox but I’m happy to play as it’s very entertaining.

Wendy: Terry has an xbox, but not sure I want to do that! :) Who knows? Never thought I'd play solitaire on a computer either!
