Would this sell to the world?

by Berti
(La Pine, Or USA )

A few years back I compiled and self published two books about a little one room school I went to and also some history of the area we lived in over 60 years ago. I was able to put together history clear back to the beginning of the school in 1849. I ask information from former students. My question is do you think this would sell? So far I have just offered the books to the former students and people living in the area.

Wendy Berti -- who knows? Your books and your voice in the world could be a hit or maybe not... the only way to know is to try!

If you are looking for income, sell the book. If you want to help your local town or help educate others about your childhood experiences and history, you might consider a blog!

Best Wishes!

One room school
by: Anonymous

I also went to a one room school 2nd. through 8th. grade. When I got to the 7th. grade I was the oldest boy so maintaining the furnace in the winter fell to me. For $5.00 a month I went to school early and got the coal furnace going. I took my first $5.00 and bought a Red Ryder BB gun. Before school I milked 4 cows.

At school I got acquainted with the tiny library and read a dozen or so of The Hardy Boy mysteries. Next I went through several of Jack London's books.

In my reverie I recall it as being a wonderful time.
