start a new life if you want to

If it is possible to retire then the next question is do you want to. You can try to weighing the pros vs the cons. It helps to look at and then weigh the arguments for and against retirement. It helped me to write it down on paper. It is never easy to retire after so many years but I can honestly say it was the best thing for me to do. I feel that I am blessed.

I am responding to your question but I can't even start to point you in the right direction.

1) Do you get a pension for 30 years employment?
2) Do you have savings?
3) Are you eligible for Social Security? How old are you?

Can you afford to retire? I have no idea.

But whether you can afford to retire, or not, doesn't mean you can't find a different job. I don't know what else you might do, or what is available in your area, but it might be a good idea to be checking out there, especially since you are high risk. I would guess you have already done this?

LIFE is certainly worth a job change, right?
