I've used so many different programs over the last nine years of retirement to push me further... I'm not one to sit still and do little.
Everyone has their own definition of retirement. Most of us have to reinvent ourselves in some manner after we retire. We simply aren't the same person post-retirement. Right?
If you are like me, you need meaning and purpose in life.
I use the Neurogym programs to push me along... and they work!
I have purchased several Neurogym programs. They are audios based on neuro-sciences... so much has changed in the last decade or so. I can download and use on my phone... but they do require ear phones, ear buds, whatever.
I have listened to his programs over and over (one is daily for 12 weeks). It is so good! You also gain access to his private Facebook group which never ceases to amaze me. These are powerful people, sharing their stories and how they are overcoming whatever the issue is. Very inspiring!
One of his programs is Winning the Game of Fear (free webinar at this link). It's a brain re-training system designed to: Overcome your fears, emotions, doubts, anxieties, stress or worries. You will develop new confidence and the beliefs and habits to quickly achieve your goals and live the retired life you deserve. Hey - it's free! If you gain one tip to hold on to a better retirement, grab it and run!
Neurogym also has a Winning the Game of Weight Loss too. The event at this link can help you with a simple three step process. Lots of retirees gain weight in retirement when we might be less active... so I think its important to learn what you can about how your basic thinking just might be an issue for your weight loss. Let's stay healthy!
Finally, Having It All is one more program I wanted to show you. John can help you find your true goals for your retired years and create a roadmap for achieving them. Discover the natural laws that will make it easier than ever before as you retrain the way you think, act and achieve.
You CAN change your thought patterns and habits.
Every single thought is creating your retired days and your future. You are what you think.
Some of this will sound kind odd, because we aren't used to thinking about our subconscious, it's just there.
Let's start our own Retirement Movement to change our thoughts so our mindsets become stronger and retirees can push forward into whatever life has waiting!
My own father is struggling with his "sickly" mindset. He is always hurting somewhere, but I am starting today to work with him to change how he thinks. I am not saying he isn't hurting... I am saying he doesn't have to think about it all day and push his thoughts further downward into that sickness spiral.
Even at age 90, I believe he can reset his mindset if I can keep his mind off his aches and pains to some extent. We shall see! Wish me well!
